West Coast Secret Rock Art Trail
Go were very few can venture, our guide will take you on a mountain adventure in the footsteps of the rock artist of the Western Cape. See trough the eyes of the first coastal inhabitants. The San Hunter Gatherers' and later the Khoekhoe Herders is believed to have occupied this region, documenting their expression of manifestations, visions, beliefs and experiences of their version of Eden.
The adventure:
Great half-day or full day adventures, involves 4x4, hiking, sum climbing and scrambling. Easy sites are viewable for the less active. Let us know your need and we can plan your day trip. These sites are only accessible with a guide and are not open to the general public. Protecting these heritage sites are of great importance, other public sites has endured extreme vandalism (Elandsbay Baboon's cave).
For the active this can be quite a exciting full day adventure. We also offer a short adventure for the less active which involves viewing of the various eagles nests, easy accessible rock art and sun-downers.
